Musical Celebration of Spring

Music and poetry of love and renewal celebrating the spring equinox, the birth of J. S. Bach, and the Baha'i New Year!  This 16th annual spring concert will feature music of Henry Purcell and Georg Friedrich Handel on the occasion of their anniversaries.

Music of the Spheres

Celebrating the International Year of Astronomy with celestial music from the time of Galileo and Kepler.  Italian renaissance compositions will be performed on recorders, harpsichord, and viole da gamba. 

Dr. Marco Cavaglia from the University of Mississippi Department of Physics and Astronomy will read from the writings of Galileo and Kepler.
